ADE is proud to partner with
HMSA for "Eat
Healthy".
ADE is educating 5th grade students all across
Oahu to make informed food and exercises choices in their daily
lives. Through educational scripts and song lyrics, children
learn about nutrition and move together in choreographed dances.
The 8-day teaching assignments culminate with school assemblies
for K-4th grade students and packed-house evening performances
for parents and families. Curriculum kits are also being
packaged and delivered to neighbor island schools. These kits
include a teacher’s manual, sample student workbook, and a
sample DVD. Teachers may choose to use the DVD as a guide to
putting on an “Eat Healthy” show in their school or simply show
the DVD and have their students complete the workbooks.

William Shakespeare wrote,
"All the world is a stage and
all the men and women merely players".
| ADE
prepares Hawaii's youth for their performance on the
stage of life. We are not a typical Kindergarten to Grade
12 (K-12) school theatre program. Rather than focusing on
the art of theatre, we uniquely focus on building performing
skills needed for life successes. |
| We partner with teachers
to enhance curriculum and meet
DOE standards.
As our dramatic residencies pop students out of apathy and on to their
feet, youngsters become better speakers and improve problem solving and
organization skills. |
| Our methods include:
creative dramatic games and directed exercises, tableaux, role
reversals, song'n'dance staging, student-scripted scenes, and video
feedback. Each residency is designed to evoke responsible and safe
behavior as students gain self-confidence, social skills, and respect
for others while stretching to "do your best". |

We have over 25
years of service, on 188 campuses, collaborating with over 4,000
teachers!
