ADE is able to work with schools to enhance the public educational experience of Hawaii's youth because of the generous assistance of our many supporters in the community. The educators' validation of ADE has come consistently in the form of fee-for-service contracts, awarded to ADE in lieu of the host of alternative, ancillary programs and providers and paid for out of highly stretched, meager budgets. This amazing demand for our interventions has allowed ADE to be a unique not-for-profit venture. For the past 25 years, never more than 17% of the organization's annual budget--spent on coaching eight thousand learners per year to become fit performers and civil audience--came from philanthropic grants or gifts.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, all donations are fully tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. Donations can be sent directly to our office, at 2165 H Tenth Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816. Or contact Aloha United Way at (808) 536-1951 for a Donor Choice Form to designate ADE as a Human Service Agency (check box "E"). (See a sample Donor Choice Form). You can also designate ADE as your Foodland Give Aloha recipient (#77311).
